The Project Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating the prototyping and testing of builds for R&D, Product Improvement and various internal jobs. This involves taking the Engineering drawings, and arranging for the various internal and external resources RME has as required to; fabricate, machine, purchase, assemble electrically, hydraulically and mechanically, commission, pack and ship and validate in the field.

With a focus on the electrical design of our highly innovative mining equipment, the role of Electrical Design Engineer is all encompassing. It will give you the opportunity to be involved with the engineering required to progress our specialised projects from concept to completion of drawings.
Working in conjunction with a team of design engineers and draftspersons, your role will be responsible for the detailed design aspects of a range of projects, and for the maintenance of machine electrical schematics. You will advise and direct at times on the use of equipment and provide relevant information, as required, to be published in our client manuals. This career move will challenge your design skills and reward your ability to think laterally.
Interested applicants must be degree qualified and have two or more years experience in using AutoCAD, or similar applications, in a quality electrical design environment. Your demonstrated ability to interpret Australian standards is highly desirable. This is a key position in our engineering team; to get the most out it you need to be an effective communicator who enjoys working within the dynamics of a team and at times, without close supervision.

Fresh from the December 2009 unveiling of our $7 million / state of the art workshop facility, we are seeking the services of a licensed Electrical Fitter to join our innovative team.
Your focus will be to assist with design, install, test and commission the specialised mining equipment that RME invents, designs and manufacturers. Further, this role will extend to reviewing electrical schematics and utilising these schematics to assemble RME’s specialised machinery. It is envisaged that this role will include up to 100 days overseas site travel following the completion of a twelve month training program in RME’s Assembly workshop.
This highly sought after and exciting opportunity will hone your skills and take your career to the next level. Interested applicants must be licensed and possess a minimum of one (1) years industry experience in commercial building electrical and data maintenance. You will also require a current/valid car licence and the ability to gain an international drivers permit as required.
Experience with Australian Standards, Mine site work conditions & prior experience using AutoCAD (or similar) for electrical design would be desirable.

RECRUITMENT FOR THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD
RME specifically requires Boilermakers, preferably with flat plate fabrication experience and the ability and desire to produce the highest quality fabrications to AS1554, parts 1, 4 & 5.
All Boilermakers are provided with speed glass helmets with clean air supply and will be located in RME’s spacious, clean and well lit fabrication facility.

RECRUITMENT FOR THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD
RME specifically requires Diesel Fitters or Mechanical Tradesmen who will be based in our assembly facility. You may be required to travel worldwide for up to 130 days per year to service and maintain RME equipment.
Qualifications will be Diesel Fitter or Mechanical Trade with Hydraulic or Low Voltage Electrical experience.
